Terms & Policy of Glarentza Hotel

The visitor / user of the pages and services of www.glarentzahotel.gr website (hereinafter the "Website") must carefully read this and in case of disagreement with the listed terms must not use it. Otherwise, it is presumed that he/she accepts the terms hereof and grants his/her unconditional consent in their entirety.

GENERAL POLICY

Minimum deposit is the value of one night's stay.The hotel reserves the right to request payment of the stay upon arrival.

NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKINGS

For non-refundable charges your card will be charged the full amount of the reservation on the day of booking and booking confirmation and this amount is non-refundable! In case of change, cancellation, no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

REFUNDABLE RESERVATIONS

(Article 8  of Law 1652/30-10-1986 (Government Gazette167 A') regulation of customer-hotel relations)
In case of cancellation the customer will be charged:
0% of the total cost if the cancellation is made at least 21 days before the arrival date.
30% of the total cost of the reservation if the reservation is cancelled less than 21 days from the expected arrival date.
100% of the total cost of the reservation if the customer does not show up (non show) or for cancellation on the day of arrival.
100% of the total value of the reservation if early departure is made, without prior notice and with the hotel's consent.
For the validity of your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount must be paid in advance. This is done by charging your credit card or by depositing in a bank account.
Once your booking is complete, you will receive a text message by e-mail as well as via the websites where you can make a reservation.If you have not received a confirmation e-mail of your booking, you may have misspelled your e-mail address. Please double-check your e-mail address before completing your booking. Also, in some cases the confirmation e-mail may end up in the spam folder. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us.

NORMAL PRICE (STANDARD CHARGE)

If cancelled up to 21 days before date of arrival, there is no charge. Deposits for bookings cancelled up to 21 days before arrival are normally refunded (the amount of the deposit minus postage, bank fees, or online payment processing gateway, if any).
If cancelled or modified later, 30% of the total price of the reservation will be charged. The remaining amount will be charged to your card or bank payment four days prior to arrival. In case of non-payment  of the remaining amount 4 days prior  to arrival,  the  minimum amount of the deposit will be charged and the reservation will be canceled.

In case of departure earlier than the agreed date, without timely notice and agreement with a written statement via  email  of  the hotel, you will be charged with  100% of the reservation amount.  Also 100% of the reservation amount will be charged in case of non show or for cancellation on the day of arrival.

MasterCard, VISA, American Express, etc. credit cards are accepted, as well as instant withdrawal cards. If you do not have a credit or debit card or do not want to use our secure payment system, you can contact our hotel reservations department on 2623092397 phone or email in order to be sent our bank account number and make the reservation.
Cancellation procedure
In case of cancellation, please contact the hotel, either by email or through the contact form of the reservation system and request the cancellation of your reservation by giving your reservation number.

SPECIAL FINANCIAL OFFERS


In case of a special financial offer, issued by the hotel's reservation office and sent to you via email, there is no refund.

ARRIVAL – DEPARTURE

Check-in time:  15.00  -  23:59 on the day of arrival (Check-in),
Departure Time: upon arrival and until 11.00 on the day of departure (Check-out).
(Different arrival and departure times may take place upon
your request and if possible).
Departure until 18.00 you are charged with half the amount of one day stay.Departure after 18.00 you are charged with the full amount of one day stay.For your convenience, if you are going to arrive late or too early, we advise you to inform us in advance, using the Comments field on the reservation form or contact form.
WARNING!!! The delay of departure of a room, after consultation with the Reception, between 11:00-18:00 has an extra charge of 50% of the daily rate of the room and 100% after 18:00.
The day of arrival is calculated in full in terms of rent, regardless of the time of arrival.
If the room has been booked by another guest, the hotelier has the right to remove your belongings.

NO-SHOW COMPENSATION

In case of no-show and when the reservation has been secured/confirmed by deposit, or a credit card has been prepaid or pre-authorized,  the room remains at your disposal until 23:59 on the scheduled day of arrival.  The non-arrival of the client, which is after the time period indicated in the Arrival Time, is  defined as No Show and therefore any deposit or payment has been made is lost and now the room is considered free and at the disposal of the reservation department. In case of no-show, you are obliged  to pay compensation equal to the full amount of the rent for all other days of the reservation.
The hotel will not honor any reservation that does not meet the above conditions.



BREAKFAST

A rich buffet breakfast is served 07:30 - 11:00.
RECEPTION 
The Reception is open 24 hours.

RESERVATIONS

The reservation office is open from 11:00 to 15:00 daily.

CHILDREN

Children - Infants under 2 years old stay free of charge and there is the possibility of providing a baby cot upon request and subject to availability. Child 2-5 years old can stay in a double room in the parents' bed at no extra charge, upon request.

Access Policy for People with Disabilities: Glarentza Hotel is 100% compliant with the law on access for people with mobility problems. We offer three accessiblerooms at the hotel, as well as accessible toilets in the restaurant and lounge area. Please be sure to inform us about personal accessibility needs in the comments section of the online booking form or  by email or by calling us directly at +30 2623092397 after the booking has been made.

INABILITY TO PROVIDE SERVICES
In case the hotel is unable to allocate the rooms on the dates agreed due to mechanical, electronic or human error or in cases of unforeseen circumstances, it will pay the customer the value of the stay as agreed.

CHANGE/ CANCELLATION OF HOTEL RESERVATIONS 

The hotel reserves the right to change or cancel reservations, in cases where it is obvious that they contain or resulted from error, as well as when the customer has taken inappropriate or illegal actions.

Limitation of Liability

Each customer is responsible throughout his stay at the hotel for the safekeeping of personal and / or valuable items, money, etc. in a safe place. It is possible, upon arrival at the hotel, to deliver them to the reception or to the hotel management for safekeeping, by receiving a relevant receipt to this effect. With it he can receive them upon his departure or at any time he wishes. In any other case, the hotel is not responsible for any loss or destruction. For other items brought with him to the hotel by each customer, the hotel is relieved of any liability if the damage or loss is due to negligence of the customer or other persons staying with him, visiting him or being at his service. Also, the hotel is not responsible if the damage, destruction or loss is due to force majeure (earthquake, fire, etc.) or to the special nature of the thing.

Room Damage/Damage

In case of damage to a room or other property due to willful misconduct, will or negligence, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of damage suffered, including damage due to interruption of activities, to the credit/debit card of the registered customer. In cases where the customer has not paid by credit card, but by cash or otherwise, the hotel will demand immediate payment of the amount of damage suffered by the customer otherwise it reserves all its legal rights.

Customer behavior

Guests are kindly requested not to cause nuisance, to behave decently, and to respect other guests and hotel staff. Also, all guests must comply with the hotel's regulations, while the hotel reserves the right to deny access or expel with any reservation any person whose behavior it considers critical. In this case, the hotel is not obliged to pay any compensation.

VISITORS TO THE WEBSITE AGREE THAT:

(a) they will use their real details (name, telephone, e-mail, etc.) in the contact forms and (b) they will use the site in accordance with the law and morality and will not take actions or omissions that may cause damage to it and any other user or networks connected to the site. The accommodation has the right to add and change the content or services of the Site, as well as the terms of use, whenever it deems necessary and without prior notice, only by announcing them through the Site.
The copyrights of the content (including texts, graphics, images, photographs and software) and services of the Website that have been or will be introduced on the Internet, are protected by Greek, Community and international copyright laws and belong exclusively to the accommodation. The names, images, logos, distinctive features and generally trademarks appearing on the Website are property marks of the accommodation or trademarks whose use has been legally granted to it. Their appearance on the website should in no way be construed as a transfer or assignment of a license or right to use them. The Website or any part thereof may not be reproduced, copied, sold or commercially exploited for any purpose and in any way without the express approval of the owner of the accommodation.

CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT

Questions, completed applications and generally e-mail are considered confidential. The information provided by the visitor / user is used only for sending an electronic response and for future updating of provided offers of products and services of the hotel. If requested by the Authorities or if it is deemed that the content of visitors/users' messages damages the website, the above will also be transferred to the competent Authorities in order to: (a) protect against unauthorized, non-compliant with the law and generally misuse of the website, as well as our legal rights and assets and (b) protect security,  the property and legal rights of other visitors / users and consumers.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Under no circumstances shall the accommodation or its representatives be liable for any loss of revenue or damage or damage or compensation, direct and/or indirect, incidental and/or negative, connected in any way with the use of the Website.

The accommodation informs you that, for your best and most complete service through the Website, it processes your personal data, based on Law 2472/1997 and its relevant amendments and in accordance with the following guidelines: you give us only your standard information, concerning the smooth completion of your reservation. For this reason, we only ask for information that is necessary to personalize and improve your service.

The accommodation in no way discloses or publishes your personal data and information that you entrust to us. The personal data you make available to us by using the Website is used exclusively for the execution of your reservations. Visitors / users when providing their personal data are hereby informed by the accommodation and consent and accept the imminent processing of such data, for the needs of smooth and easy transaction between the parties, as well as the transmission of these data to recipients who will be specifically identified and are the employees and agents of the company in the context of the execution of the contract drawn up.  Only authorized employees have access to your personal data and only when necessary, e.g. to process reservations. For the rest, the accommodation undertakes not to disclose the details of its customers, unless it has written authorization from them, or this is required by a court decision or decision of another Public Authority.

APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION

For any dispute or controversy that may arise between the hotel and the visitor / user in the context of using the Website, Greek Law is applicable and the Courts of Amaliada are competent.

Thanks to our service and the friendliness of all of us, your pet, kitten or dog, will equally enjoy his stay.    Certified guide dogs, daily guardians - angels of visually impaired people, are always welcome.For the best stay of your pets, for the comfort and safety of all hotel guests as well as staff, please observe the following rules:
• We accept pets upon request.• Up to one small or medium sized pet is allowed in each room. Reptiles are prohibited.• Visitors with pets are required to bring with them an updated pet's health booklet accompanied by an authorized veterinarian. The hotel is entitled to request the presentation of an updated pet health booklet at any time.• The stay of aggressive pets is expressly prohibited. The accommodation reserves the right to expel customers accompanying a pet that has exhibited aggressive behavior towards other guests or hotel staff.• Pets do not enter public areas such as the restaurant.• During their stay outside the room and in the hotel areas pets are required to be constantly with the walking guide.• The owners of pets are responsible for cleaning pet waste  in the rooms as well as in all of the hotel.• Pets should be checked so as not to disturb other customers.• If the pet is free in the room it is mandatory to have a "do not disturb" sign on the door.In this case your room will NOT accept room service.We will not be responsible if your pet is released as long as there is no "do not disturb" sign.
